Kenya: Purchase Basic Supplies for a Rural Health Center?

Because of high levels of poverty in Kenya, rural health centers cannot afford basic equipment and supplies for primary health care. This means that prenatal and postnatal services are not available, and deliveries are done at home, without efforts to prevent mother-to-child transmission of HIV.  With your partnership LifeSMILES dentistry will enable ADRA to purchase equipment and supplies for a rural health center, helping them focus on early diagnosis of disease and prevention of maternal, infant, and child mortality.

Updates will be released as ADRA’s response efforts expand. ADRA is present in 125 countries, providing community development and emergency management without regard to political or religious association, age, gender, race, or ethnicity.
